Panthera Sanctuary

I am headed to the jungle tonight to volunteer for a month with the amazing Panthera Sanctuary. It takes up to 13 hours to get to from Cusco but will be well worth it.

The sanctuary was founded in 2013 to study and help ensure jungle biodiversity, which is very important to the future of our planet.

Another aspect of their work is to rescue, rehabilitate (if possible), and rerelease animals that have been caught in smuggling cases.

I’m very much looking forward to my work with them and learning more about their mission!

If you are interested in supporting their cause directly, you can do so on their website in the link above. Muchas gracias mis amigos!
